Most successful models travel constantly, all around the world. this sounds great, but the downside is that you may also not get to see your family and friends as much as you'd like. Even though i've seen some incredible sights--the Louvre Museum in Paris, the pyramids in Egypt, the beaches of Jamaica--I've also missed a lot of fun at home, including my best friends's birthday, my brother's graduation, and may christmases with my family.
Traveling so much also means spending a lot of time alone; although I enjoy this, some models find that they often feel very lonely and isolated. On top of that, it's exhausting and stressful to always be running to catch a plane, train, or automobile to get to the next job.
